The Chitresh Das Dance Company (CDDC) is partnering with the prestigious Asian Art Museum (AAM) of San Francisco to present CDDC’s Home Season and the world premiere of Pandit Chitresh Das’ new work: Darbar.

Four performances in the elegant Samsung Hall will be held in conjunction with the AAM’s Maharaja: The Splendor of India’s Royal Courts exhibition. ‘Darbar’ highlights the artistic renaissance that took place in the courts of North India and the conquering tactics deployed by the British. ‘Darbar’ demonstrates how the arts bring people together across differences and illuminates the history of colonialism in India.

March 17th CDDC will host an exclusive performance and event for sponsors.  Please click here for more details.
