Seeking a Renaissance in San Francisco

Rocky Horror @ Clay Theater

Rocky Horror Picture Show

The historic Clay Theater on San Francisco’s Fillmore Street has made it a tradition to screen viewings of The Rocky Horror Picture Show on the last Saturday of every month.  Rocky Horror, the longest-running midnight musical of all time, stars Tim Curry, Susan Sarandon, and Barry Bostwick.  The film is a science fiction parody and was a provocative portrayal of LGBT themes during its 1975 release.

The Clay Theater continues to propagate its legacy, attracting viewers who line up outside at 11:30pm on the last Friday night of each month to catch a midnight viewing.  An additional bonus to this feature is the live performances of the musical by the renowned Bawdy Caste.  Come out on February 26 for the next show!
