‘Fourty and Fabulous:’ 2010 SF Pride

Pride Flag - Castro, San Francisco

The 2010 San Francisco Pride celebration is just around the corner, with the Parade and the Celebration set to run from June 26-27.  The parade will kickoff at 10:30am on the 26th and will run from Market and Beale to Market and 8th.

This year’s theme is “Fourty and Fabulous,” as 2010 marks the 40th anniversary of SF’s Pride Parade and Celebration.  The celebration, which will have over 200 parade participants and 300 exhibitors, is the largest LGBT gathering in the country.  The post-parade celebration will be held in the Civic Center/City Hall area.

Sadly, I can’t make this year’s parade/festivities, but I’ll definitely be looking out for post-parade pictures.  In the meantime, here are some pictures I took at last year’s parade and celebration: 2009 Pride Parade Photos.
